About
At over 500 years old, Bromsgrove, in Worcestershire, is one of the oldest but most forward thinking of England’s schools, with 500 boarding pupils from the 1,500 children in total.
Situated in the ‘Midlands’, 15 miles from Birmingham, Bromsgrove has easy access to a motorway and rail network. Birmingham International Airport is 25 minutes away and London Heathrow two hours by car.
Bromsgrove champion flair, discipline and academic rigour. Equally strong in the arts and sciences, whether a student wishes to be a musician or a mathematician, Bromsgrove’s standards and expectations guide each pupil, resulting in excellent A level and IB performance.
The school offers a home, not a place to sleep after work. Each boarding house is different but there are core values and structures shared by all of them.
The school has made massive investment into its buildings in recent years with all boarding houses being either new builds or have been fully renovated to the highest standards. These join state of the art, architecturally striking facilities and significant sports developments and a new performing arts centre with both a theatre and a concert hall.
