Culford is a co-educational school, located in Suffolk and near to Cambridge. It offers its students the warmth and individual attention of a small community with the wider educational opportunities of a larger school.
Culford believes independent thinking, reflection, tenacity and confidence are essential to learning and help lead to success. Teachers promote these skills and qualities, which is evident in the excellent level of achievement by students. Each pupil’s learning is unique, which is why daily meetings with tutors to set goals and to review individual progress is an essential component of the Culford academic programme. In addition, the annual Scholars’ Programme challenges and engages students who have a drive and aptitude for high-level academic study.
The library is at the academic heart of the school and is a centre for research and study. The Sixth Form have exclusive use of the library’s mezzanine floor with coffee facilities, quiet study areas, and WI-FI.
Pastoral care at Culford is rated by Ofsted as “Outstanding”.
