Established in 1882, Wycliffe College is a thriving day and boarding school for over 716 boys and girls from the ages of 2 to 18 years.

Wycliffe is among the top 5% of schools in England for helping pupils to exceed their potential (Value Added). In the past two years, Wycliffe was ranked in the top 2% for value added at A Level.
Not only do pupils have the opportunity to gain excellent grades, they can choose from a wide range of subjects. For those considering GCSEs there are 22 subjects on offer and in the Sixth Form 28 subjects, ranging from the traditional subjects to the more specialist fields.

The accommodation at Wycliffe is impressive – facilities have been invested in considerably over the past few years. Each of the houses has its own kitchen, common room with television/dvd as well as wifi throughout.

Pupils may remain within the Houses at Exeat and with a full Saturday programme for Years 9 – 11, this ensures it is an excellent experience for International pupils.

In the last twelve months, pupils have participated in a varied programme of activities, including a squash tour to Canada and the USA, the CCF tour to Norway and Years 7 & 8 rugby and hockey tour to Ireland.

The Games Department prides itself on its ability to maximise the physical potential in pupils of all abilities in the full range of sports. Opportunities are provided at all levels to represent the school with regular fixtures, district competitions and national tournaments. Wycliffe is the top School in the UK for Squash and currently has 7 pupils who are ranked in the top 5 in their age group, in their countries. Unusually for Schools in the South West, Football is a main sport during the Spring Term for boys. Our basketball is currently enjoying unbeaten success and our Rowing and local Equestrian facilities are the best in the area.
