About

“London in the countryside”.  Located in the northwest of London, surrounded by 150 acres of greenery/parkland/playing fields, we are extremely lucky to offer the best of both worlds: easy/fast access to London in a safe, secure, quiet and calm environment.  Some traditional and historic building, some modern.  Both Mill Hill School and Mill Hill International share a number of the same facilities.

Academic

60% of those finishing their A Levels go on to Russell Group universities, great GCSE exam results at both Mill Hill School and Mill Hill International.  A great range of subject options available and with flexibility of courses provided there are a number of suitable options available to all applicants.  Courses provided:

  • Year 9
  • Two-Year GCSE course
  • One-Year GCSE course/Pre-A Level programme
  • A Levels 

Wellbeing

With our dedicated International School, we have an in-depth experience of helping pupils take their first steps into education in the UK, offering a stepping-stone to settle into a new and different cultural environment.  Integration between both schools allows faster development of friendships and understanding.  Academic, pastoral, sports and boarding staff all liaise regularly to provide a well-rounded support network.

Boarding

We have 4 boarding houses accommodating around 200 pupils.  There are over 30 nationalities in our boarding community, each house accommodates pupils from Year 9 through until the Upper Sixth as well as pupils from both Mill Hill School and Mill Hill International.  A mixture of triple, twin and single rooms are available.

Extra-curricular

Over 200 sports and activities are offered.  We are so lucky to have such amazing facilities on the doorstep of central London so can offer great sporting opportunities alongside musical options and many more. We are lucky to have amazing partnerships with Premiership Rugby & Football clubs, among others, with potential scholarship options available to outstanding candidates.

With options available from Year 9-11 (13-17 years old) at Mill Hill International and Year 9-13 (13-19 years old) at Mill Hill School, we aim to be able to offer a suitable study path for all international pupils, including a specialist One-Year GCSE course to allow those with good academic skills to develop their language abilities at the same time as progressing with their studies.
