At Tudor each girl is treated as an individual and we seek to develop every aspect of her personality - academic, sporting, creative, spiritual. As a boarding school we encourage and develop co-operation and social skills and the sense of responsibility to a wider community as featured in the school motto – Habeo ut Dem, 'I have that I may give'. Academic results are excellent, sporting standards high, co-curricular activities wide-ranging and constantly evolving. We challenge the girls to allow them to gain the confidence needed to fulfil their potential. We believe a boarding environment gives both the time and the unique environment which allows educators to really make a difference to the young people in their care.

As each girl is treated as an individual we help them to excel in the areas which are special to them.  The girls consistently achieve excellent academic results and our value added is unparalleled. On leaving Tudor, 83% of girls go on to study at the Russell Group universities as well as further education establishments in the US and Australia. Chosen degree courses are wide spread, ranging from law, medicine, maths and accountancy to modern foreign language, the arts and architecture.

The ‘Aim Higher’ programme across all year groups affords the girls a range of academic opportunities beyond the classroom, allowing them to pursue their intellectual curiosity. The programme is inclusive with activities ranging from entry to national competitions (a team won the Salters’ Festival of Chemistry competition at Birmingham University), independent learning project work, lecture attendance via the school’s ‘Nanette Godfrey Lecture Series’ and weekly critical thinking discussions on topical issues.

Tudor’s sporting prowess is unrivalled. Our hockey team is currently county champions and we consistently have successful cross country teams in national competition. The tennis teams won their county round and went through to the Central England final and we currently have the England’s U20 Sprint Triathlon Champion in our student body. Other sports and activities run daily include netball, lacrosse, squash, athletics, swimming, life-saving, dance (classical ballet, modern, contemporary and tap), riding, polo, shooting, yoga, and pilates.
The school’s moto forms party of Tudor’s DNA.  ‘Tudor in Four Continents’ supports four charities in India, Guatemala, South Africa and Lancashire, with groups of girls participating in community projects throughout the holidays. The Warrior Accelerated Scholarship Programme puts girls through their paces in South Africa with sky diving, mountaineering and white-water rafting testing their physical and psychological strength.

We have a new state of the art drama studio which is being enjoyed by all girls and staff. The new teaching block, which will house classrooms for maths, English as well as specialist teaching rooms for Ceramics, Photography, Textiles and Home Economics. The next phase of the development plan is the large sports complex which will add to existing facilities and includes a dance studio, gymnastic space, fitness suite and café; celebrate the diverse composition of our pupil population.
