There are many students who have successfully obtained scholarships through Intake in Malaysia, so see what scholarships are available this year!

Intake has helped many students to successfully apply for scholarships, and so we have accumulated many years of experience in this area. If you would like to apply for a scholarship then Intake would be glad to assist you in preparing your application along with all the required documents. Please be aware that the application requirements for scholarships change year by year, as well as the amounts offered and the universities that offer them. INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

 

Each year De Monforth University (DMU) offers a range of scholarships created specifically for international students coming to study at the University. FInd out below about the undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships available for international students starting a course in the academic year 2021/22. Please visit the website for further information about the eligibility criteria and to view the terms and conditions.

 

International Scholarship*

  • Available to full-time and part-time undergraduate or postgraduate students starting in September 2021 or January 2022.

  • A £1,500 fee reduction is available on a first-come, first served basis upon receipt of a £4,000 tuition fee deposit. Please note that there are a limited number of scholarships available.

 

Early Payment Discount*

  • Available to full-time and part-time undergraduate or postgraduate students starting in September 2021.

  • A limited number of Early Payment DIscounts equivalent to £500 are available upon receipt of a £4,000 tuition fee deposit for applications made before 31 August 2021.

 

High Achievers Scholarship*

  • Available to full-time undergraduate students starting in September 2021.

  • The scholarship offers a £5,000 fee reduction or a full fee waiver to international students who have achieved a score of 75% or above in their previous studies. The award of this scholarship is through an application and selection process.

 

Sustainability Scholarship*

  • Available to full-time postgraduate taught students starting in September 2021.

  • Our sustainability scholarship aims to support high-calibre students to come to DMU and develop the skills they need to make a difference. It offers full-time postgraduate students who show they are committed to the university’s Sustainable Development Goals a £4,000 discount towards course fees.

• A discount is offered against tuition fees payable for relevant courses beginning on or after 01.09.2021 and before 31.05.2022.

• The discount is for those who have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree awarded by the University of Chester or its associate colleges, who have not previously received this or a similar discount. Foundation degree graduates are not eligible for the discount.

• The University reserves the right to withdraw, or vary, any conditions of the initiative at any time without notice.

• Discount may be forfeited if fees are not paid promptly.

• Discount is only to be redeemed against a course in the academic year 2021/22.

• Discount is only to be redeemed against a full priced taught Master’s course.

• Discount is not transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer
• Students who hold any other financial award contributing to their fees must seek advice and may not be eligible.

• Students must be self-funding for the entirety of their course.

• Discount is not applicable to the MBA, MA Art Therapy, MSc Marine and Coastal Resource Management, MA Social Work, MSc Psychiatry, MSc Physician’s Associate and MSc Wildlife Conservation.

• Discount is not applicable to PGCE courses.

• Discount is not applicable to research degree courses, including Master by Research (MRes) courses.

• Acceptance onto a Master’s course is subject to entry requirements.

• The decision of the University as to a student’s eligibility shall be final

  5. Scholarship is not guarantee as it depends on the student's essay and background

UNDERGRADUATE (SEPTEMBER 2021 ENTRY - INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS ONLY)

Aimed at: Undergraduate students from outside the UK, who will pay full overseas tuition fees.

Eligibility: You must have been accepted onto a full-time taught bachelors degree course starting in September 2021. You cannot combine this scholarship with any other financial support from Manchester Metropolitan. See terms and conditions below for full eligibility criteria.

Value: £2,000 for each year of your degree.

How to apply: We will assess your eligibility when you apply to study at Manchester Metropolitan. You do not need to apply separately.

 

POSTGRADUATE (SEPTEMBER 2021 ENTRY - INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS ONLY)

Aimed at: Postgraduate students from outside the UK, who will pay full overseas tuition fees.

Eligibility: You must have been accepted onto a full-time taught masters degree course starting in September 2021. See terms and conditions below for full eligibility criteria.

Value: Up to £3,000 in the first year of study.

How to apply: We will assess your eligibility when you apply to study at Manchester Metropolitan. You do not need to apply separately.

INTERNATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS SEPT 2021

The University of Southampton have confirmed that all their Southampton International Merit Scholarships will be the same as last year, with up to £3,000 for Undergraduate study and up to £9,000 for Master's courses. All international applicants will be automatically considered for these scholarships – there is no need for them to apply separately for the scholarship.

EU SCHOLARSHIP SEPT 2021

A new EU scholarship has been launched which consists of £5,000 reduction in fees both for undergraduate and postgraduate students residing in the EU and starting a programme in Sep 2021.

APPLICATION FEE WAIVER SEPT 2021

Applicants to the below scheme are now exempt from paying the application assessment fee, but will need to contact international-scholarships@soton.ac.uk  before submitting an application in order to receive a waiver:

  • Applicants to the Said Scholarship Scheme
  •  Applicants to the Chevening Scholarship Scheme
  • Applicants to the Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme

Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh has confirmed the significant reduction to some of their Undergraduate tuition fees, to £7000.00 per year. This will come into effect for students enrolling in September 2021. Whilst this will apply to a number of their very popular Health Sciences courses, the University will also have the most capacity to welcome students into their School of Arts, Social Sciences and Management. What does the scholarship offers?

  • The scholarship is worth £2,000 per year for courses in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Faculty of Social Sciences and £2,500 per year for courses in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health, and Faculty of Science.
  • The scholarship is offered in each following academic year subject to sustained academic success, please see below for more details.
  • No additional scholarship application is required. If you meet the eligibility and award criteria below the scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount.
  • You must choose the University of Sheffield as your firm or insurance choice before 16:00 (UK time) on 18 June 2021 to receive this award.
