Emma Willard is a rigorous college-preparatory boarding high school for girls located in Troy, New York. The school has been recognized as a leader in girls’ education for over 200 years.

Emma Willard School's curriculum allows girls to focus on their future aspirations and equips them with the interdisciplinary knowledge competitive colleges are looking for.  The academic program offers more than 110 courses, including Advanced Study options, where girls engage in discourse that brings context to high-level concepts and understanding of the world we live in. Personalized study programs enable girls to dive deep into a topic or field of their choosing, and gain hands-on experience.

Boarding

The full-time resident faculty are educational professionals whose primary responsibility is living and working in the residence halls, ensuring students receive the highest level of care and support, with special attention paid to the specific needs of the schools' international students.
