About

Repton, located in the heart of England, is a world-class, modern co-educational boarding and day school with a clear sense of purpose and momentum. Repton provides an exceptional broad-based education, blending heritage with the pursuit of excellence, offering outstanding facilities, teaching and pastoral care.

Academic

Academic standards are high and pupils never have to prioritise academic achievement over their love of the theatre or rank their aptitude for sport above their passion for music.

Wellbeing

Pastoral care in every aspect is proactive and pre-emptive. Repton places importance on looking after ‘the individual’ at every stage of their time; doing so in a proactive, open and collaborative way that encourages staff, parents and pupils to work together.

Boarding

There are 10 boarding houses – six for boys and four for girls.  Day pupils are fully integrated with the boarders, who make up around 70% of the Repton community. In-house dining is one of the most highly treasured aspects of Repton life and day and boarding pupils dine with teachers and staff in their own House three times each day.

Extra-curricular

Artistic endeavour forms an integral part of a Repton education. Music, Drama, Art, Design and Technology and textiles enrich the social and cultural aspects of school life and are enjoyed as part of the academic curriculum as well as our inspiring co-curricular programme. Over 80% of Reptonians represent the School in at least one sport and every pupil participates in sport at least three times per week.
